![]() It's been running OK since Sunday afternoon. I then went back into the Windows defender settings and excluded the browser and enabled defender to run again. I then went into the browser settings, bookmarks manager and exported the bookmarks as an html file. On mobile, CyberGhost has native apps for iPhone/iPad and Android (which I also tried). Linux users will have to do with a CLI, though looking at screenshots, it looks a bit more spiffy than others like it. I ran it and thankfully it reinstalled to the original location so that when I launched the browser the bookmarks were still there. I tested CyberGhost mainly on the Windows app, though there is also a desktop app for macOS. I then was able to download the installer for the CyberGhost browser. ![]() ![]() I went into Control Panel, Windows Defender, and disabled Defender. Thanks in advanceĮdit: As of now I have solved the problem (I hope). Isn't that where the bookmarks are stored and if they are how do i retrieve them? I want to import them into Pale Moon browser since it has a small footprint. I was checking and there are still Cyberghost files under Users/Owner/AppData/Local. The big problem for me is that without the browser I can't access over 100 bookmarks. But I was also running Cyberghost Privacy Browser and yesterday all of a sudden the browser is gone!!!!! (running 64 bit version of Windows 7) I can't even download a copy of the installation file because it fails flagged as a virus. As of now my installation is still working. ![]() I've seen the posts about problems with Windows Defender flagging CyberGhost VPN as a virus. ![]()
